Hi. It's Me.
I’m the Problem. It’s Me.

I was raised to never talk about politics or religion.
Yet here we are.

Not because I enjoy controversy. I don't.
But because following Jesus eventually demands saying out loud what many of us are pretending not to see while Christianity drifts from Jesus.

Pastor Brandon Online Arizona Church Pro

I accepted Jesus at a youth camp in Arizona in 1983 and felt called to ministry by the time I was 18. But a well-meaning, burnt-out pastor talked me out of it. So, I climbed the corporate ladder instead. I earned multiple business degrees and landed a Fortune 10 VP role. From the outside, it looked like success. But inside, I knew I was way off mission.

I've led ministries across the board — marriage, men's, youth, kids, adult discipleship, global outreach, prison ministry and even briefly, a motorcycle ministry. I pastored at four campuses for a large multi-site church.

I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Divinity, am ordained through the National Association of Christian Ministers (NAACM), and am a certified premarital counseling facilitator.

This ministry? I don't want this calling. I've asked God to choose someone else many times. It's not comfortable for anyone — including me. Challenging the Evangelical Right invites insults. It invites threats (real and scary ones). So, addressing the hard stuff isn't exactly a party on my side either. Trust me, I'd rather be grilling burgers at a local church men's ministry gathering.

My calling is simple and clear: to challenge Christians to make American Christianity about Jesus again.
